Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Darjeeling Sikkim Taxi Services. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our taxi booking, tour services, and related travel services. By accessing or using our services, website, or booking platform, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Booking and Confirmation

1.1 All bookings made through our website, phone, or partner channels are subject to availability.

1.2 A confirmed booking requires payment of applicable charges, either full or partial, as stated during the reservation process.

1.3 We reserve the right to accept or decline any booking at our discretion.

2. Pricing and Payments

2.1 All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.

2.2 Payments can be made online, via bank transfer, UPI, or in cash at designated payment points.

2.3 Any additional charges for tolls, parking, permits, fuel surcharge, night charges, or inter-state fees are payable by the customer unless clearly included in the original package.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing or via our official contact methods.

3.2 Cancellation charges apply as per the schedule below (unless stated otherwise in a specific offer):

  • More than 72 hours before service: Partial refund (less service fee)

  • 48–72 hours before service: 50% refund

  • Less than 48 hours / No-show: No refund

    3.3 Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 7–14 working days.

4. Service Usage

4.1 Customers must present valid identification (such as an Aadhar card, passport, driver’s license, or other government ID) if requested by the driver or company representative.

4.2 Passengers are responsible for their belongings and any damage caused to the vehicle due to negligence.

4.3 Smoking, alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited in all vehicles.

5. Driver and Vehicle Standards

5.1 All drivers are licensed professionals who adhere to local traffic laws and safety standards.

5.2 Vehicles provided are regularly inspected and maintained. However, in rare cases of breakdown or technical issues, we may assign an alternative vehicle or driver.

6. Route and Schedule Changes

6.1 Routes and schedules may change due to road conditions, weather, or regulatory conditions.

6.2 We will make reasonable efforts to inform customers of changes and provide suitable alternatives.

7. Liability

7.1 We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.

7.2 We do not assume liability for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, road closures, strikes, or other events.

8. Privacy

8.1 We collect and use personal information only to process bookings and improve services.

8.2 Personal information will not be shared with third parties except to complete bookings or when required by law. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Customer Conduct

9.1 Customers must treat drivers and staff with respect.

9.2 Abusive, violent, or criminal behavior will result in service termination without refund.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

10.2 Any disputes arising under or relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in West Bengal.

11. Changes to Terms

11.1 We may update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
