Welcome to Darjeeling Sikkim Taxi. This Booking Policy explains how reservations are made, confirmed, and managed for taxi services, transfers, and tour packages. By booking any service with us through our website, phone, email, or partner platforms, you agree to follow the terms outlined below.
1. How to Book a Service
You can book our services in the following ways:

✔ Email request
✔ Through our travel partners
To complete a booking, you must provide:
Full name of the traveler(s)
Valid phone number
Email address
Pickup location and date/time
Drop-off location (if applicable)
Selected service or package
Payment information (if required)
2. Booking Confirmation
✔ All bookings are initially subject to availability.
✔ A booking becomes confirmed only after:
Payment is received (full or partial) as specified, and
You receive a confirmation message or email with a booking ID.
Your booking confirmation will include:
Booking ID
Service details (vehicle, route, date & time)
Driver information (if available)
Payment summary
Terms applicable
Please keep your confirmation details handy for reference.
3. Advance Payment & Deposit
Depending on the service type:
Some bookings require full payment at the time of reservation.
Others may require a non-refundable deposit to secure your vehicle and date.
Advance payments ensure:
✔ Vehicle availability
✔ Driver assignment
✔ Permit processing (if required)
Without the required advance payment, we cannot guarantee your booking.
4. Valid Pickup Time Slot
Once your booking is confirmed:
✔ Arrival of the taxi at the pickup point will be within the time slot specified in your confirmation.
✔ Drivers may arrive up to 30 minutes before or after the scheduled time due to local conditions.
If your taxi is significantly delayed, please contact the driver or our support team.
5. Changes to Booking
You may request changes to your booking (date, pickup time, route or vehicle type) subject to:
✔ Availability of vehicles and drivers
✔ Prior notice (preferably at least 48 hours before pickup)
✔ Price difference (if applicable)
Changes requested less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may be treated as cancellation and may incur applicable charges.
6. Traveler Details & Identification
All travelers must provide accurate details.
Before the journey begins, drivers may ask for:
✔ Government issued photo ID (e.g., Aadhar, passport, driver’s license)
✔ Booking confirmation
Failure to provide valid ID or correct details may result in service refusal without refund.
7. Special Requests
If you have any of the following, please inform us at the time of booking:
Child seats or booster seats
Additional stops
Extra luggage or equipment
Requests for specific pickup/drop points
Tour itinerary requests
While we’ll do our best to accommodate all requests, it is subject to availability.
8. Group Bookings
For groups traveling together:
✔ One lead traveler should make the booking and provide details for all passengers.
✔ Group bookings may require additional deposit or full payment in advance.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
Bookings canceled by you are subject to the terms of our Cancellation Policy. Please review that page for detailed information on charges and refund timelines.
If we cancel your booking due to operational issues, you will receive:
✔ Full refund, or
✔ Rescheduled booking without additional charges.
10. Important Conditions
✔ All bookings are subject to availability and local road, weather, and permit conditions.
✔ Once a service has started, no changes or refunds are permitted for the unused portion.
✔ You must comply with all driver instructions and local travel regulations.
