Daytime rules in Gangtok sometimes limit non-local commercial cars above certain points.
When you book, we will say one of these in the quote:
- Hotel-gate pickup
- Deorali pickup — a 10–15 minute local hop from the hotel (small extra / your arrangement)
Do not leave this vague if you have a 5:00 AM flight. We lock the meeting point the evening before.
NJP vs Bagdogra
Same highway until the Siliguri split.
- Flying? Book this page (IXB).
- Train? Say NJP on WhatsApp — fare stays in the same band, drop is the station.
Pakyong (PYG) is closer to Gangtok but flights cancel often. Only book PYG if that is the ticket you hold.
