PAP is mandatory north of Chungthang.
Indian guests: original photo ID + passport photos. Some posts are strict about ID type — send scans 24 hours ahead.
Foreign guests: RAP for Sikkim + PAP for the Lachung–Yumthang circuit. Zero Point depends on the army / weather that week. Gurudongmar stays off-limits.
Permits are tied to dates and vehicle. A Deorali shared jeep is not a substitute.
